Ferrari unveiled its 2012 car – dubbed the F2012 – online after cancelling its formal launch due to heavy snow and freezing temperatures.
The car features a stepped nose, something which is expected to be a feature on the majority of cars this season, but doesn’t match the images circulated by Giorgio Piola – which claimed the car would have fighter style wings ahead of the sidepods, though the Italian technical journalist did correctly predict front pull-rod suspension which hasn’t been seen in the sport for several years.
