Lewis Hamilton has confirmed that he has split with his girlfriend, Nicole Scherzinger, after much speculation.
The separation may explain his troubled mood recently which has seen the McLaren driver rather glum, despite securing pole position in Korea.
“We’re friends and we can move forwards,” he is quoted as saying by Reuters in India. “It’s never easy going through tough times.
“These times are sent to try you and it’s about how you pull through them.
“I’ve my family who are helping, so I feel pretty good,” concluded the 26-year-old.
