Immediately after finishing third at the Belgium Grand Prix, Jenson Button flew back to the UK to take part in a McLaren-Mercedes demo for sponsor Vodafone.
Button got behind the wheel of the MP4-12C and the 2008 championship winning MP4-23 to delight of the strong crowd which gathered on the bank-holiday Monday despite the rain.
“Great day in Manchester. Still can’t believe how many people came to watch today! Amazing crowd!! Hope you all enjoyed the show,” wrote the 2009 world champion on his Twitter account.
