Sebastian Vettel will start the Belgium Grand Prix from pole position on Sunday after securing the top spot ahead of Lewis Hamilton by almost half a second.

The McLaren driver looked to have secured pole despite making contact with Pastor Maldonado in Q2, which damaged his car, but a late lap from the German pushed him back onto the second grid slot.

Mark Webber, on his 35th birthday, starts on the second row of the grid in thirs, ahead of Felipe Massa and Jaime Alguersuari.

Bruno Senna, on his race debut for Renault starts P7, followed by Fernando Alonso.
