Jean-Eric Vergne looks set to be given the opportunity to participate in Friday practice sessions for Toro Rosso once his World Series by Renault campaign has ended.
With Daniel Ricciardo having moved to a full-time race seat with HRT, the opportunity for another Red Bull junior driver to take part in a race weekend with the sister-team has once again opened up.
The WSR series ends on October 9th in Barcelona, meaning the 21-year-old will likely participate in the final four practice sessions of the season at Korea, India, Abu Dhabi and Brazil.
Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari will take it in turns to give up their seat for the Frenchman.
