Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Mark Webber and Jaime Alguersuari are under investigation following the Spanish Grand Prix, the FIA has confirmed.
The investigation centre’s around the yellow flags on lap 49 whereby Heikki Kovalainen hit the barriers. According to the FIA, the four aforementioned drivers failed to slow down through sector two.
Hamilton finished second, Button third and Webber fourth whilst Alguersuari came in 16th.
Any penalty would likely be a 20 second time addition, which wouldn’t effect the top-five positions with fifth place man Fernando Alonso finishing a lap down.
