Team Lotus Press Release: British helmet and goggle manufacturer Ruroc has been confirmed as Official Supplier to Team Lotus with immediate effect.

The agreement confirms the British brand as supplier of their RG-1 Helmet system for use by the Team Lotus pit crew as they take their fight to the midfield teams in the 2011 FIA Formula One™ World Championship.

Over 600 million global TV viewers will see the Ruroc RG-1 Helmet and goggle system at each race in pitlanes around the world, as well as the Ruroc logo on the team trucks, the motorhome and in the Team Lotus garages.

The pit crew play a crucial role in the team’s performance both on and off -track. They need to react quickly, have good all round visibility and be confident in the security that comes from a strong helmet design, which is why the Ruroc RG-1 system’s market leading design makes it an ideal choice for Team Lotus.
