While there may be no racing for the next two weekends, Red Bull is filling the gaps with two Running Showcar events in two very different grand prix host nations: Singapore and Italy.
This coming Sunday (April 24) David Coulthard will take to the streets of Singapore, while the following weekend Mark Webber will tear around the streets of Turin.
At the Singapore Speed Street, Coulthard will race down an 800m stretch of Orchard Road in an hour-long showcase. As well as the F1 car, the motorsport showcase will include an Audi R8 LMS driven by Malaysia’s former F1 driver Alex Yoong. There’s also a full support programme of activities and displays at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza.
The Red Bull F1 Showrun Italian extravaganza takes place on Saturday, April 30 as Mark burns around the historic streets of Turin. His circuit for the day is Piazza Vittorio, the track passes beside the River Po before reaching its destination, Largo Cairoli.
The action starts at 3pm and as well as Mr Webber, Chris Pfeiffer, the four-times stunt riding world champion will give one of his breath-taking displays on two wheels.
