Rumours that Toro Rosso could once again be offloaded by Red Bull have arisen in the new year, not for the first time, with the latest candidates coming from the Middle East.
Reports suggest an Arab consortium has expressed an interest in snapping up the sister team of double world champions Red Bull before the 2011 season kicks-off in March.
This has though been denied by team principal Franz Tost, who told Motorsport-Magazin: “There is no truth to this story.”
The outfit finished ninth in 2010 having scored 13 points between their two drivers, Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari.
