Newly crowned Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel and seven-time champion Michael Schumacher, paired up for the fourth time to take the Race of Champions Nations Cup for Germany in Dusseldorf on Saturday.

This win is their fourth and makes them the most successful pairing in ROC history.

Team Germany went up against team Great Britain in the final showdown. Jason Plato lost out to Schumacher in his race but, Andy Priaulx managed to overhaul Vettel to go up against the Mercedes GP driver with the latter taking victory by just under a second.

Other F1 drivers on the line-up included four-time champion Alain Prost, representing France alongside Sebastien Loeb. Whilst Heikki Kovalainen paired with Tom Kristensen for Team Nordic, the former taking victory in all his races but the same couldn’t be said for Kristensen who lost all of his.
