Bernie Ecclestone has revealed the horrific black-eye sustained when he was mugged outside his FOM HQ in the centre of London.
The 80-year-old was with his girlfriend when the attack took place, Fabiana Flosi was unharmed, however Ecclestone was punched and kicked to the ground by the four men.
The billionaire lifted his tinted glasses to reveal his swollen eye resembling a beetroot, before declaring: “I’m OK.
“I’m feeling it now, it was a good whacking. They said nothing to me, just went on the attack. I took a kick or two in the head and went unconscious.”
A reported figure of £200,000 worth of jewellery was stolen which Ecclestone dismissed as rubbish.
“They took our watches and a few other bits and pieces but I never carry much money or expensive jewellery. I see a figure of £200,000 mentioned, but that’s b******s.
“They won’t be going far on what they took off us,” he added.
