Sebastian Vettel will continue his championship celebrations by realising a dream on Saturday when the German will get the opportunity to race along the ‘Fan Mile’ in Berlin.
“I have always wanted to turn a few rounds through Berlin and on Saturday I can finally fulfil this dream,” Vettel wrote on his blog.
The youngest ever Formula One World Champion hasn’t stopped celebrating since he took victory in Abu Dhabi.
A visit to Austria, Red Bull’s base in Milton Keynes, his home in Heppenheim where 20,000 fans cheered him on and now a drive through the capital of his homeland.
However, that won’t be the end to his driving duties this weekend. Vettel will take part in the ‘Race of Champions’ held in Düsseldorf this year – an event he has participated in since 2007.
His driving partner will Michael Schumacher. The pair have won the nations’ cup every year since 2007.
