With penalties for Michael Schumacher, thanks to his aggressive driving at the Hungarian GP, and Nico Rosberg, for a gearbox change after FP3, both will drop down the grid by ten and five places respectively.
The FIA are also looking into an incident at turn 14 during Q1 which saw several drivers overtake under yellow flags after a collision between Lucas Di Grassi and a Lotus – the result of this investigation is currently unknown.
Timo Glock has also been handed a penalty of 5 places for blocking Sakon Yamamoto during Q1.
Sebastian Buemi will now start 16th after the FIA decided he had impeded Nico Rosberg during second qualifying.
Pedro de la Rosa will start 24th having changed his engine.
