The F1 Times is offering you the chance to win a £40 voucher for your favorite team’s online store by designing our new logo.
The logo is to be used throughout our site, in the header bar, on our office headed paper and on business cards and other promotional gear we produce. This is your chance to let your creative flow take over.
Depending on how many designs get submitted we will whittle it down to the top-5 in our office and then it will be down to our readers to decide which design wins and becomes our new logo.
Rules and Requirements
> All designs must be original, do not copy anyone else’s work or include any content that may be copyrighted – unless you know we have permission to use such content.
> All designs must be submitted by 25th July at 12noon (BST).
> All designs must be no smaller than 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels tall at no less than 120 DPI. This ensures that the print quality is good enough for us to use.
> All designs must incorporate into the site well – notice we use a certain type of green over and over – maybe put this within the logo. We don’t want to have to re-develop the site around the logo.
> You can send as many designs as you like.
> Be as creative as you like but we are not changing our name. You must have “The F1 Times” somewhere within the design. You may, get away with “TF1T” in certain circumstances.
> Please do not “watermark” your designs. Any design with any watermarking or designers names on will not get through the initial stage.
> Once submitted you agree that The F1 Times becomes sole owner of any work and can do with the design whatever they so wish. The winning designer will be asked to e-sign a contract which discusses this in more detail, once signed the prize will be processed.
> There is only going to be one winner.
> Remember, we are soley based on F1, no other motorsport.
> You can, if you wish incorporate a company slogan into the logo. We have used “Pole-Position for F1 news, reviews and interviews.” before but this can be changed.
> The £40 will be in the form of a voucher, no cash alternative is available.
How to send your design
Upload your image to a host, we reccomend Imageshack or Photobucket for this, however, any host is fine.
Send us the DIRECT LINK to the design (not the thumbnail link) via e-mail (click here) or tweet it to us (@F1Times).
PLEASE DO NOT SEND US THE IMAGE DIRECTLY AS IT CAN TAKE A WHILE FOR IT TO DOWNLOAD OFF THE SERVER!!!
