F1 supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, has admitted that he doubts whether Michael Schumacher will stay in the sport after this season.

Speaking to City AM Ecclestone said, “If Schumacher doesn’t perform I doubt whether he will want to stay. He is obviously [still] fit, motivated and talented.”

The 41-year old re-joined the sport driving for Mercedes GP this season after retiring for three years.

Ecclestone went on to blame the Mercedes team for Schumacher’s lack of pace.
