Force India’s Vitantonio Liuzzi will lose five places after the FIA found him to have blocked Nico Hulkenberg during qualifying.
He will now start 20th, rather than 15th, promoting Petrov, Buemi, Alguersuari, Kovalainen and Glock.
“Traffic really destroyed qualifying for me today,” said Hulkenberg.
“As I was going into the first corner on a quick lap in Q2, Liuzzi exited the pitlane under blue flags but didn’t move out of my way.
“That ruined my lap from the outset as I couldn’t get past him.”
