Mark Webber, who finished in 8th after getting stuck behind the slow McLaren of Jenson Button assessed the Bahrain GP with a few frank comments.

“Wow! New rules, not sure huh?” Webber said on his Twitter page.

“Why do they keep dicking with it? Followed Mercedes power for the whole race, no chance to overtake – again.”

His comments seem to echo many of the fans feelings after a disappointing, processional race in the Kingdom.

The Daily Mail also slammed the race, calling for urgent action to ‘spice’ up the racing.

“The FIA and teams must look at the problem urgently and see what can be tweaked.

“The sport is in danger of missing out on its greatest bonanza. There are four champions on the grid, all in competitive cars. The racing should be sparkling rather than as dry as the desert.”

Stefando Domenicali on the other-hand, delighted with a Ferrari 1-2, has urged caution.

“We should wait. Let’s first wait and see how the races develop.” he is quoted as saying by Yalla F1.

“There could be other situations so I only want to give my opinion after a few races. We should wait to see a few more scenarios before we make a judgement about the way it really is.”
