Max Verstappen headed the second practice session of the 2023 Miami Grand Prix, leading the Ferrari duo of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
Leclerc’s session came to a slightly premature end when he made a mistake at Turn 7, which pitched him into the barrier at Turn 8.

Kevin Magnussen was also lucky to escape unscathed from a spin at Turn 14, where he brushed the barrier.
Mercedes endured a more difficult session with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell classifying in seventh and 15th respectively, having topped the first session.
